Overview
If you own a GORUCK Rucker, the GORUCK Ruck Plate is the correct weight solution. Standard weight plates work, but they shift around and can damage the pack lining. The GORUCK plates are designed to the exact dimensions of the internal plate pocket, so they sit flush and don’t move.
Which Weight
- 10 lb — for beginners, running with weight, or warm-up rucks
- 20 lb — the standard starting point for most GORUCK Challenge events (Endurance)
- 30 lb — GORUCK Tough and general training standard for experienced ruckers
- 45 lb — GORUCK Heavy (24-hour event) standard weight
Start with 20 lb and add weight once 5–6 mile rucks feel comfortable.
